Our focus for this rebranding project was ‘elegance’, as we guided this specialist beauty and aesthetics training company through an exciting rebrand.  We speak to Carolyne Cross about the rebranding j ourney for Omni.

Tell us about Omni – what sets you apart from other training schools in the beauty industry?

At Omni Academy of Beauty, we pride ourselves on training our students to the highest standards in beauty and aesthetics. We are passionate about enabling our learners to achieve industry recognised, professional NVQ and VRQ qualifications and apprenticeships. Our bespoke, caring approach to our learners’ experience with us provides them with the best possible start to their career.

Why did you decide to rebrand?

The beauty and aesthetics industry is evolving all time and we felt that it was time for us to move with it. We had a logo that had served us well for a number of years, but we felt that it no longer engaged with students in the right way.

At the same time, we wanted to review our website as it felt confusing and no longer easy to navigate. So, we took the opportunity to look at our whole identity, on and offline, at the same time.

What has rebranding meant to the business?

We are so proud of our new brand. It is a true reflection of who we are, and our status in the industry. It appeals to our students and has given us confidence to increase our marketing communications and social media content and we are already seeing tangible results in the uptake of our courses. We are delighted with how everything has worked out.

How was the whole process working with Detail?

Everyone we worked with at Detail was highly professional and really listened to what we wanted and reiterated. When we couldn’t put things into words, you captured the essence and really helped us achieve our objectives to develop a really strong brand identity. We are also pleased to still have ongoing support whenever we need you, whether for marketing communication advice or help with our social media assets. We are confident that everything that Detail has designed now looks as professional as we are.

What was the feedback from your customers?

They love our new brand, we are no longer stuck in the past and they have found the new website much easier to navigate. In fact, our website has been a huge hit with people, with its well thought out customer journey and engagement. We have seen more active bookings and fewer queries, which means that the messages around what we can offer are getting across, loud and clear.
