A fresh new brand and website refresh for Dublin accountancy practice.

Nexus is a family-owned accountancy practice based in Co Dublin, Ireland. It was established in 1981 as BKRM Nexus. More than thirty years later, the business needed to undergo fresh branding to bring its image up to date and inject new energy into its identity.

The practice’s core offerings remain the same – clear, reliable and flexible accounting services to suit the needs of all types of business. Key messages of trustworthiness, expertise and a friendly, reassuring approach all needed to be retained. However, there was also a requirement to emphasise other aspects of the company in its new branding, such as insight, forward-thinking advice and a passion to see its clients succeed.

We worked closely with the company to create a new identity for the family-run practice. This included consultancy with regard to changing the name to Nexus, providing a more modern, succinct tone of voice. The design of a new website followed, with a well-considered customer journey as well as digital assets for social media and a full set of brand guidelines.

Following an initial workshop, we collaborated with the business owners to craft a compelling brand identity that effectively highlighted Nexus’s core values as a reliable and knowledgeable accounting firm, delivering adaptable and comprehensive accountancy services to businesses of all sizes. This was accomplished while ensuring that existing long-term clients were not alienated and that the brand stood out from the competition.

Design of the website followed with consideration given to the visitor journey and how content could be integrated with digital marketing and easy updates. A cohesive suite of digital assets was designed for use across social media and professional publications.

The launch of Nexus’s new name, logo and website have been very well received. It was agreed that the changes have brought renewed energy and creativity to an established, well-respected accountancy firm without compromising its long-standing reputation for quality and professionalism.

Their new brand also gives Nexus valuable authority and authenticity among its competitors, strengthening its reputation as an expert and leading voice in the sector, which will help increase its standing in the financial markets of Ireland and beyond.
