Sport for Confidence is a unique initiative that combines sport and occupational therapy to help people from all backgrounds re-connect with society and their local community. It uses the great leveller of a passion for sport to bring individuals with and without learning difficulties together to take part in a variety of sporting activities.

The team at Detail was involved right from the very start of this pioneering initiative, brought in at conceptual stage to help guide the development of a strong, aspirational brand worthy of such a valuable partnership. The process started in earnest with us participating in some early sports sessions to help us understand how and why people benefit from them so much.

Using what we learned from the sessions, we came up with a strong and simple brand mark that we merged with inspiring photography and a carefully considered colour palette. The shade of teal that is so commonly associated with physiotherapy pulled the overall effect together to create a memorable brand and clear definition of this vitally important initiative.

Detail will continue to work with Sport for Confidence on a pro bono basis as part of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
